I just finished Dreams from my Father by Barack Obama. The book was amazing with a statement on trying to find oneself while trying to lift up others. He really got me in the book, which I decided to read after hearing some statements others accused him of writing (that were not in there). I would recommend this book to anyone, there is no politics in it, just his struggle to find himself and a great journey he had on the way. Also through the book I found two interesting things, one is the most amazing tree ever. It is called the baobab tree and it is found in Africa. It can hold over 32,000 gallons of water to survive a drought. Some are believed to be over a thousand years old! and the other interesting thing i looked up was on the Masai tribe. Here is a picture and also a video of their jumping dance
I'm the mother of 3 wild kids and want to leave my chronicle of the funny, the best, the worst and the outrageousness that goes on in our lives. I want to put down all of the little things that I hope to remember but know I'll forget.
