Prescription of PS and milkshakes

Gavin was prescribed playstation and milkshakes yesterday when he was casted on no, not one, but BOTH arms. He fell off the playground zip line and school and buckle fractured both wrists and a big bump to the noggin. This is our first run in with broken anything other than egos so it's been a trial that I hope we don't have to repeat. While he is happy with the prescription, he is very unhappy at missing soccer this season and having to put off his guitar lessons (having just gotten his guitar and amp the night before). The other stinky part is that he chose one red cast and one black cast so I continually feel I must offer up the fact that we don't watch football to everyone that comments on his casts.

On a different note.... less than 24 hours to the opening of the Olympics!
